Here I will try to answer the most common questions I get. Please do read them before sending me a message as the answer you are looking for, might be there already! Didn't find what you're looking for? Send me a message!
What is a digital pattern?
My digital patterns are PDF files that will be delivered to you via e-mail after you complete the checkout process. You will receive several pages of detailed instructions, with photos and illustrations.
What is a PDF file?
PDF is a common file format used to share documents. You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to open the pattern files. You can download Adobe Reader for free.
How do I get my pattern?
Click on the link provided in the e-mail to download each file. The file will be in your download folder. Open the files and save them to a permanent folder.
Can I sell items made from your patterns?
Absolutely you can! Please feel free to sell the pieces you make to family, friends, and/or in your own shops! Just be sure to use your own photos and kindly reference Hippiemoments as the pattern creator. The pattern you use to create the piece, however, is my own personal copyright and is not to be shared, copied, or distributed.
I have not received my pattern from Hippiemoments yet. Please help!
As soon as your payment has processed, Hippiemoments will send you a download verification email. If you haven't received the email, try checking your spam or junk folder, and if you use gmail, try checking your "Social" and "Promotions" tabs. If you haven’t received your pattern within an hour, send me an e-mail (email@example.com) and I will manually resend the pattern file to you.
Is there anyway I can get a refund? (Example: I thought I was ordering an actual plant hanger, but I accidentally bought one of your patterns.)
Unfortunately I do not offer refunds for pattern purchases. Due to the nature digital files, they were automatically sent to you the minute you clicked purchase.
However, if you've accidentally purchased the same pattern twice, please let me know, and I'll refund your money for this special circumstance.
And if you're having a problem with my pattern, if you're unsatisfied or find something confusing, please contact me! I want you to be happy with your purchase and will do what I can to remedy the situation.
Do you have paper patterns?
I currently offer digital patterns only. Paper patterns cost more to print and ship. Digital patterns allow me to provide you patterns at a reasonable cost and are more sustainable to produce.
You have 2 shops: this one and on Etsy. Why and where should I order...?
Yes that is correct. I have two shops. The one on this website and my Etsy shop.
I actually started out with only an Etsy shop, but have developed this site after a while. One of the reasons is that I pay a lot of commission over everything I sell in Etsy, to Etsy. I chose to keep both shops. Because of the high commission I pay to Etsy, you will see that our prices on Etsy are a bit higher than here on the website (to cover for a part of the commission).
