Macrame owl pattern BOHO

A step-by-step macrame tutorial for making your own macrame owl wall hanging.

This owl straddles the line between vintage funkiness and eclectic modern decor really well. It will be wonderful in an outside space or just about any room that could use a little dose of nostalgic whimsy.  

The finished owl wall hanging measures 47x25 cm.

To make this macrame owl,  you will need:

•    92 meter of cotton cord (5 mm)
•    2 wooden rings with a diameter of 3 cm
•    wooden stick or thicker cord (10mm), 32 cm long (for mounting the cords)
•    wooden beads: 2 for the eyes and an oval bead for the beaken
•    driftwood for owl to “sit” on

 
Adding a piece of beautiful driftwood will give this wallhanging some extra character.
